What We Do
A thorough bench service for hand-wound and self-winding pieces. The movement is disassembled, cleaned, inspected for wear, and reassembled with appropriate lubricants. Timing is checked across multiple positions.
Surface marks are reduced by hand using graduated compounds matched to the original finish. Sapphire, mineral, and acrylic crystals are sourced and fitted; gaskets are replaced and water-resistance tested where possible.
An extended project for older pieces needing more than a routine service. Every component is inspected under magnification. Case, dial, hands, and movement are addressed together. Work is documented with photographs at each stage.

Every component is assessed under a binocular loupe before any work begins. Nothing is assumed; everything is confirmed by eye.
Before-and-after photographs accompany every job. Restoration projects receive a written record suitable for a private archive.
Where modern replacements are unavailable, parts are reconditioned or fabricated in-house — not sourced from generic suppliers.
Signed casebacks, dial printing, and case engravings are protected throughout. We work around originality, not against it.
Bench services are quoted at two to three weeks. Restoration projects run six to ten weeks. We communicate any changes before they affect your schedule.
Our workshop is in the heart of KL, a short walk from Bukit Nanas. Drop-offs and collections by appointment at a time that suits you.

We work across a wide range of mechanical movements — Swiss, German, and Japanese, from daily wearers to older pieces that haven't been opened in decades. If you're uncertain whether we can help, send us a description and we'll advise honestly.
The RM 520 bench service covers disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, lubrication, reassembly, and a multi-position timing check. It also includes a short written condition note and before-and-after photographs. Parts that require replacement are discussed separately before any work proceeds.
A standard bench service typically takes two to three weeks. Case refinishing runs around ten working days. Full vintage restoration projects are quoted at six to ten weeks depending on the complexity and the condition of the piece. We'll confirm a timeline when you bring the watch in.
For a movement bench service, the dial and hands are typically removed for access and refitted carefully without alteration. Any work on dials or hands beyond routine handling is discussed and agreed with you before it happens.
We work with established horological parts suppliers. Where modern equivalents are not available, components are carefully reconditioned or in some cases fabricated in-house. We'll be upfront about what is and isn't achievable before work begins.
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit cards. A deposit may be requested for restoration projects; this will be confirmed at the time of drop-off.
